UTG+1 checks, hero??

What do people think is best here?

No stats on utg+1 but it may be worth noting that he folded to a preflop reraise about two hands earlier, and he took quite a long time before he checked on the flop.

Any suggestions are welcome, should I have reraised more preflop perhaps?

Thanks for the response
May i ask why you would bet 1.5k when he only has a stack of 2.2k left?
Wouldnt it be better to raise all in for extra fold equity? Or if you are sure you are ahead raise less so he thinks he has fold equity for his shove?

With his stack size, 1500 or 2200 is effectively the same bet, so you could bet anywhere from 1500-2200 here. If he has a spade, u can't deny him the odds to draw, so you're really just betting to protect your hand against overcard(s) and to get value from hands that u have beat. If you thought that shoving/betting 2200 might look more like u have a draw, then betting that amt might be the right play.
