Default A8 on 899 board

I was playing 20/18/6, stealing a lot and betting almost every button. Villain is 19/14/4.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (4 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

saw flop|saw showdown

SB ($104.50)
BB ($239.70)
UTG ($165.85)
Hero ($107.35)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises to $4, SB calls $3.50, 1 fold.

Flop: ($9) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $5, SB raises to $14, Hero calls $9.

Turn: ($37) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

There is no shame in folding here. Villains line is really strong and we do not have enough information to make a well educated decision. Flow of the game/hero's image is huge in this spot.

People bluff at these flops, especially with the small bet you did on the flop. Villain probably got pure bluffs aswell as flush and straightdraws in his range. I wouldn't fold, I definitely think you're ahead of a random 19/14/4's range here. I call and reevalute river, where I would definitely fold to a big bet if a club, 7 or T falls.

thx for replies. I had a pretty aggro image at the table. att. to steal was almost 50%, and I could definetly feel that the player was getting frustrated. I was a little concerned about A9, but I don`t think he would bet that much on turn. I shoved and he folded. I`m sure he would have 3bet an overpair pf, given my aggression on button. I think if I decide to play the hand after his bet I might as well shove, not sure comments appreciated.

if i'm multi tabling and this is one out of 5 decisions/tables, reloading back and forth, building stacks on different tables - it's an insta-all-in imo... otherwise if i'm playing one bigger table i might reconsider the strength of the hand... maybe wrong reasoning, but that's often what happens
