Re: Branching Out: NFL Parlay Week 1
Matt, being from philly I can honestly tell you NEVER, I mean NEVER lay points with the Eagles on the road. They always play down to their competition and FatBoy McPuke always spits out the bit.

Re: Branching Out: NFL Parlay Week 1
can someone explain parlays? You have to win every bet you make in order to get the payout, right? Do you get better, the same, or worse EV by doing a parlay than doing each bet individually?

[/ QUOTE ] Worse. the Best way to bet is to do lots of research and only bet on games that you think the line is off enough to give you a positive expectation over the juice. Making a parlay like that one is basically burning whatever money you put up. Its probably comparable to entering a MTT w/ 10,000 people in it that only pays 1st place |

Re: Branching Out: NFL Parlay Week 1
I believe the ev is worse than betting on individual games but its all about the bigger payout, makes it more fun and its not like sports betting is +ev for many people anyway so f it
