Cryptologic back to 30% minimum gross from November 1st

Have just received emails from InterPoker and others saying that their rates are reverting to 30% gross rake (as a minimum level) from November 1st

Email as follows

yes this 30% Gross rake (meaning 38.7% net)

It would seem that not all of the rooms are approaching this the same way. I just got this from Sun:

This is actually slightly better, since 40 * .775 = 31...they're basically just removing the bottom tier.

40% is actually net (paid) rake:

So Sun's lower level is 40% payout - 51.6% gross (as I understand it)

Are all the cryptos improving their RB or at least returnign them to previous levels?

That's not the way I read it:

IE you get 40% of 77.5%.

I hope you're right, but I don't think that's the case.

That is not correct, because in which case the NET would give more than the GROSS rake.

Following is the structure for Crypto sites:

Minimum MPP Maximum MPP Net Rakeback Gross rakeback
0 99 20% 15.5%
100 599 30% 23.25%
600 1,199 35% 27.13%
1,200 1,849 40% 31%
1,850 2,499 45% 34.88%
2,500 And above 50% 38.75%

So 40% NET rake is equivalent to 31% GROSS rake at Crypto sites.

why did they change back? Did they lose players after changing to the net rakeback method?

I got this from Littlewoods, with the levels stated in the OP. Not really making me want to rush back, especially with the awful traffic in games I play

They didn't "change" it back, they just upped the antes a little.

They're giving you MORE rakeback in return for your play, atleast till 1st January 2008.

And noone knows what the next promotional step will be.
