The cities of Camden and Newark scoff at these amateurish attempts at corruption.

And, my personal favorite (due to home-county bias), the old local prosecutors derailing FBI corruption probe in Monmouth County:

The cities of Lynwood and Southgate spit on your puny attempts at corruption.

There is no corruption in Atlantic City, what are you talking about?

Atlantic City - Small town scandal. Because of the joints, Atlantic City gets a lot of notoriety for a place with less than 40 thousand residents. I was in that town once, during election time. It was like, "who's running for class president?". They all know each other.

It should be pointed out that AC used to have a lot more than 40,000 residents several decades ago. The things that made AC notorious reduced its population somewhat. Those who favor legalized gambling should pray every day that Atlantic City gets washed away by the ocean.

Atlantic City wasn't much better before the casinos came, it was poor and run down then too. In fact, it's looking better now that it ever has in my lifetime, if only in a few parts of the city.

Most of the people you hear prattling on about how 'AC went to crap when the casinos came' either don't remember or don't know what it was like before. The corruption certainly predates the casinos, we have a pretty big mob history here as well.

This might be the first thread in the history of the universe where a Chicago politician could play the holier-than-thou card without hypocrisy.

Default meet the new boss

Old news. AC has been nothing but corruption for a long, loooooooooooooong time. Indictments there are about as common as slot tickets.
