Default [25NL] AK - hit flop, check raised on turn

I just started at this table so I don't have any info on opponents.

I'm UTG and get AK. I make a standard raise to $1. Almost everyone folds, only the SB calls.

At the flop I hit my A, but there's also a Q. That's a little scary. There's also a flush draw. I make a c-bet on the flop. The SB calls.

The turn is a pretty harmless card I think. I make another bet because I don't want the SB to draw cheaply to a flush. But then he raises me.
I don't want to risk my stack with only one pair, so I fold.

Easy fold? Or reraise all-in? Or just call?
Should I have not bet the turn?

I think it's fine. You told him you had an A and he said he had that beat. Where you didn't have any kind of read on him I'd believe him.

Nice hand.

You guys do realize that sometimes players raise for no reason and stuff right? Or like they slowplay AT. Call and c/c river if you like money.

Bet more on flop too I think.

I realize that some guys raise the turn with nothing. But I find it hard to find out which player does that, what kind of player.

I find it easier to call a shortstack who raises me on the turn than a guy with a full buy-in.

He's playing a short stack and only has another 4$ behind. I think you see random Ax/FD here often enough to make this a push.
