Default Re: Oh the luck today :( Did I play these 2 hands well? (NL .02c / .04

Agreed, no reason not to complete with 67o in the SB.

Hand 1:

I think you can fold the turn here. It was you who took the lead preflop and on the flop, so you've shown plenty of strength. Despite this UTG shoves the turn. I'd assume he was ahead of you there, with something like KT or a set. If he had some other hand take a note. FWIW I dont always raise KJo preflop there, although I think many other people do. I think at these stakes you can play tighter than a duck's arse, and still people will stack off with garbage against you.

Hand 2:

Preflop - Good.

Flop - The dumb end of a straight really sucks balls, but betting the pot first in is good there. When MP2 raises and CO calls I'm not sure. I'd probably do exactly what you did and 3bet hoping that he's doing this with a set. I'm hoping CO is drawing, but I think he can have the nuts here also.

I'm not good enough to lay down a flopped straight so I think I'd 3bet, as you did, thus the rest of that hand basically plays itself (arrr in!). It'd be nice to hear from one of the strat/theory experts though i think.

After you've 3bet you cant fold because you're in too deep.
