Personally I would raise this flop, unless you know Villain is tight. I would make it 10k to go. Most likely you get a fold. If he calls then, congrats on the 7 but if the 7 doesn't fall, I would c/f to get one more chance to catch my set.
The smooth call on the turn seems dangerous to me. I would prefer to see a raise here. Not sure which is the best play though. Those are my thoughts. |

I think the flop is fine. The turn is starting to make the board coordinated. I could see SB having a weak J here, maybe QJ, KJ. I would probably raise the turn to like 12,000.
As played, I'd push the river. He seems to like his hand - hoping he doesn't semibluff QT twice. However, I doubt he has QT here because his river bet is still small relative to the pot. If you call the flop like you did and the turn is a blank, I'd probably check/fold. |
