I'm at work so can't look but, hey, thanks enormously, that's totally unexpected and very generous. I can pick it up in cash from the Western club tomorrow. Great!

[/ QUOTE ]

hmm - i was hoping you would try to go robusto with it, but do what you gotta do.

[/ QUOTE ]

Ha, hey, you know what, I'd prefer that too! But I thought you might have wanted me to withdraw it straight away, and I'd have happily done that. Okay, instead I will play my best poker and go robusto! I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks again!

Ahahahaha, actually, no, but I did see her yesterday morning when my housemates were at work and gave her £300 for two agreeable hours. ZOMG A GIRL IN MY BEDROOM WITH NO CLOTHES ON!!!!!!!!!!!

But I had £860 come into my account today, so my rent money was seperate and I could afford it.

[/ QUOTE ]

ya it was only 25% of your net worth, you could definitely afford it.

and when you win, it is not because you magically played well, it is cause you ran well. you are an idiot and have no semblance of understanding of variance. you play way too high, like 100x to high for your net worth.

it amazes how much human intelligence varies.

Yes. If you fall off a horse, you should get back on as soon as possible (unless you are Christopher Reeve)

luckyjimm is clearly not an idiot. he is just deluded. there's a large difference.

jimm stop living like a dostoyevsky character - humiliation is nice every once in a while, but being perpetually down-on-your-luck on purpose by playing a game you can't win - it's no good.

If you wanted to be anything more than a recreational fish then that's what you should've done.. 'cept you wouldn't have lost £815 obviously..
