Default 25NL 55 in BB caught set, facing the dreaded flop minraise

Villain in CO is something like 40/0/1.5 over 50 hands. He hasnt done too much wrong post flop. SB is a donk.

I called the SB reraise on flop as I'm fairly sure he doesnt have KK or AA, maybe 2 pair. More worried about passive CO getting heavy.. My stack is quite short, do you lay a set down here?

Raise flop.
Dunno how to feel on turn. They do this with AK every time, but AA/KK is also in CO's range.
Nvm, just saw your stack, easy call for you. Given 100BB stacks, I probably call too and resign myself if it's set over set.

Well PF is fine. But first off lead flop, and lead turn so you can get it in on the river.
This hand is a joke right? The pot is laying like 3:1 for the rest of your stack, or more than that considering that everybody seems to love their hand.

I think this is a 3bet preflop for a normal stack.

You want to 3bet a 40/0/1.5 who is raising from the CO for the first time all session when SB has decided to come along? Calling for set odds preflop is the single most brillaint thing about this hand. 3betting light is for thinking players because it gives you FE. I seriously doubt we have a shread of FE here with any 3bet short of a push.

I agree, gross hand, should have bet flop. In the end, I called the push after considering folding for an eternity.

The worst card came on the river Kh, to give me the lowest full house. CO had AA, SB had K4.

Oh well, should have folded after all, but hindsight is a wonderful thing. Back to grinding..

This kind of thinking is going to cause you leaving more and more monies on the table. When you flop a set go broke on the flop everytime if you can. Turns and rivers can screw you sometimes and you have to think about whether you are ahead or not but on flops just get the money in.

Cuz it's a good way to spew chips against somebody who obviously has JJ+ and AQ+.
