Do you play as soldier all the time? How do I go about getting more kills than like 15 in a round, which is like my max. I'm gonna play right now if anyone else is down.

I'd love to hear good soldier strategy, never really gave that class a shot. I'm a great scout/sniper and could probably go on at length about tactics for scouting, but I know little about soldiers.

I mostly play as soldier

Strategies for soldier:
always try to be fully reloaded. When in a firefight and you reload don't get impatient and shoot off one rocket and then reload and then shoot one more rocket and then reload... unless that 1 rocket will kill your opponent for sure. Learn how to aim for the feet. It's hard to get a direct hit with a rocket so I give out most of my damage via splash hits. Once you get good at this you can try jumping and then firing at the feet to increase your margin for error.

Learn how to fire around corners and then retreat and do this constantly. Peak around the corner and fire rockets and then get back. Know where the health packs are and try to move around at full health as much as possible.

Always try to have the elevation advantage in a fight. This is huge.

I have been playing mostly as demoman. Indoors he is pretty [censored] devastating...if used by someone who doesnt suck.

For me is Soldier > Spy, Engineer, Sniper > Demoman, Scout >>> Pyro, Heavy, Medic

With soldier, shoot at feet, shoot in groups, continue to jump all the time. They are very good at killing engineer stuff. They aren't super great close range.
