Default Advice on limiting variance at 6-max whilst chasing a bonus?

Not sure if this is the correct place to post this. If it is, do you have some advice on the following?

I am attempting to clear a bonus to build my roll, but I have found I will not have enough time to get through the required raked (contributed) hands. I have moved from 10NL 6-max to 25 NL 6-max since I am likely to clear the rake quicker, however, I am only rolled for around 12 BI at this higher level.

On a good day, I am beating the 25NL tables, and on a bad day I'm a marginal winner although this is not over a large amount of hands so I'm very wary of the dreaded variance. Do you have any general advice on keeping variance to a minimum at 6-max, while enabling me to play at this level to clear the bonus?

Do you think it is more sensible dropping down to 10 NL and multitable due to BR limits? Bearing in mind only a small proportion of pots make the rake clearance at 10NL.

(I play a fairly standard TAG style).

You should be fine with 12 BI. Play a little tight, play your good hands fast. If you take a hit, you can drop down and cool off. If you're mostly varying between big wins and small wins, I would guess that a busto-style downswing would be a remote possibility.

play 10nl. the rake is 10% at 10nl and the rake is 5% at 25nl, so you're making about the same through the rake. You could easily go on a 12 BI downswing and lose your roll.

What do you actually class as a nit? I have heard the term so many times but just assume it is a TAG that folds to aggressive betting.

I would play something like this :- Raise (4xBB+1 per limper) AA-99, Ak, AQs, in EP/MP, and adding AT, KQ, KJs in late position. Call pairs 22-88 with limpers infront, else raise is folded to.

(This is probably a better strategy for full ring, could you advise?

I find that playing SC and 1gap SC hit so rarely that they just add to my variance. So I don't play many SCs below 910s.
