Default 2 Hands Vs. AlotofAction

These are the notes I have on him:

"opens utg and 4bets JJ to possible btn squeeze

AK7r, calls with 76s after cc

5bet shoved AJo against me for $556"

These hands are in order, the 2nd one taking place within an hour of the first. We have a decent amt. of history, not really sure how he views me, but we had played several pots leading up to this first one, nothing real crazy yet. One hand is blind vs. button and the other btn vs. CO, so the money can get in light. I'm just not sure what is appropriate at this level against this type of player.

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

BB: $415.80
UTG: $386.00

1 - he's bad enough to have 99 / 56 here. I think its close but fold.

2 - beat him into the pot.

Against the old Alotofaction, these would both be snap calls. Unfortunately, he's tightened up and is playing better now. Still, I think I call both vs him.

I'd definitely fold hand 2.

Hand 1 is closer, leaning toward a call.

I think hand 1 is a call. You need around 33-34% equity to breakeven. Against a tight range of 33+, it's a fold, but surely there are some random bluffs with overcards, pair+draw type hands that make it a call.

For hand 2, I think it's close, but a fold. you need 43% equity to breakeven and I really doubt his range is as wide as AJ+, 99+. However, if you think he's tilted and those hands can be included in his range, then I would call.

really depends on your history and your image and if he's tilted. i'm usually calling both though.

I'd call 1 and fold 2;

hand 1 is really close but against alotofaction it's a call.

hand 2 I'd just fold b/c I hate committing a bi for a race like that, esp when you can easily be crushed.

If you 3bet him a lot, he'll show up with way worse than AJ+, 99+
