Default Dell Laptop Party Black Bars

A buddy of mine just got a brand new Dell Inspiron and party is looking all messed up. THere is a lot of blank white spaces in the lobby and when he opens a table it opens with black bars around the sides. I think I remember this problem happening to a lot of people before but couldn't remember how to fix it. Anyone got a clue?

IIRC those terms are synonymous when it comes to monitor settings.

lol

I'll defer to your computer expertise. But to a computer-idiot such as myself, if there are two settings you can change, then they're different

Try changing the DPI setting, its under the display properties>settings>advanced>general

Make sure its set to "normal size"

different settings

right-click dekstop-->properties-->settings-->advanced-->DPI=96 (not 120 like dell sets it)
