Default Has anyone else noticed this?

Everytime I go to the casino I see this. When people go to the cage and get their chips and sit down they never know what to do with the rack. They take all the chips out of the rack and they are looking all over the place to find a spot to put it lol. I know I play low limits in the casinos, but does anyone else notice the same thing? I simply put my rack on the floor. What do you guys do?

I usually put it on the floor under my chair, on the side table (if there is one), or toss it on the nearest empty table.

I get chips from the runner and hand the rack back with a tip (or never have to deal with it at all in some places).

Part of becoming great at poker is using your powers of observation. Start paying attention to where all these players are putting their racks. I am never tripping over racks so I am thinking these guys must know what they are doing.

Look under the table. You'll discover a vast civilization of abandoned racks.

Unless you need a rack to put your chips in to leave. They can smell that coming, so they hide.

At the Borgata, you can put a rack or two in your chair (wedged behind the ass cushion and back support, fits perfectly).

I'm not a big fan of the people that dump them in the "vast civilization of abandoned racks". Its not that hard to find a place they belong.

I just throw my rack at whomever I think is the nittiest player at the table. This is the start of my LAG image which works to help me get paid on big hands IMO.

I agree. If you play poker you should look for every possible opportunity to do a little walking to put away your own trash and fetch things you need.

Keep moving, keep the blood circulating in your legs. Otherwise it may be heart attack time once you get a bit older.
