I definitely remember this scene, but can't remember what movie it is from.

It is NOT armageddon or any type of star trek movie.

The catch is: whoever does it will most likely die due to radiation poisoning. The captain asks for volunteers, but nobody mans up, so he/she (can't remember) opts to do it. The crew says no this can't happen, so they draw straws. Some dude gets the short straw, but this other guy says, "No I'll do it." He goes into this tunnel or whatever to fix the problem, then it shows him trying to do it, the crew telling him to get out, him screaming, and doing it but eventually dying.

Are you sure it was a space station? Could it have been an underwater movie like Leviathan or The Abyss?
