175 bbs, KK pre
Trying to get max value here w/ KK. Regulars seem to just push all-in in spots like this. Is this the optimal play? What about calling and pushing first on the flop? Effective stacks are about 175 bbs. Is this EVER a fold with our stacks? Villain is a multitabling regular running at 19/17/5 over 373 hands.

Re: 175 bbs, KK pre
I shove this every time. Especially if I have 3 bet him a few times in the past and he might be playing back at me.

Someone recently said, this only gets interesting about 400bbs deep.
I agree. Shove. |

Re: 175 bbs, KK pre
Shove - so what if he has aces - no more decisions to make. Are you folding to an ace on the flop if you just call?

Re: 175 bbs, KK pre
I shoved and got rocketed up my ass. No problem. I'm curious though as to how deep we have to be for this NOT to be a shove. And at those deep stacks, what are our options in a hand like this? 5-bet pre and fold to anymore action or call the raise pre, check-call flop and shut down turn, etc.
