A good way to turn $50 into $2500 in 2-3 weeks is to play $5-10s SnGs until you reach a few hundred then jump to $20 SnGs (and stay there unless you fall below about $200).

Good luck.

Worked for me.

Opps. Like I said, worked for me.. but that's the only sample point I have. I'm sure someone with as many posts as holyfield5 must be much better qualifid to give advice...

It's tough, but it can be done. I turned $3 on FT (Played in a 100 dollar freeroll for SIX HOURS) into $30 by grinding it out on the NL10 tables. I would buy in for 2.50 and play until I at least doubled up. Then, I would find a new room and do it again.

Unfortunately I donked it all off playing in games outside of my knowledge base. (I wanted to learn stud, omaha, etc.) But if I would have stayed smart, I probably could have turned it into more.

I started playing Limit online cuz i found most players sucked ass and NL had too much of swings

I learned how to play limit, and started off with 20 bucks
Limit Bankroll
0.02/0.04 20.00
0.05/0.10 30.00
0.10/0.20 60.00
0.25/0.50 150.00
0.50/1.00 300.00
1.00/2.00 600.00
2.00/4.00 1200.00
Well... that's if you wanna play limit, grind it out. I made 1.1k profit then quit online for a bit.

Do not play SnGs or tournaments. That's suicide. Listen to kemuser. However there can be bad swings at limit too. If you play NL, then you have to play very very small. Like .01/.02. Even if you build it to $100 and moved up to .05/.10 and $10 buy in, then you are still only working with 10 buy ins.
