400NL, QTs hit 2pr on very coordinated board
Villain is 21/17/1.00 over only 45 hands.
Hero has been a preflop LAG within the past 2 orbits, raising almost every hand and c-betting a lot, taking most everything down. Is the fish holding a mirror?
The preflop call is pretty bad IMHO vs his range. On the flop, when he 3 bets I think you're crushed by his reraising range here. I think felting with KQ here is a lot better than felting with QT. |

Re: 400NL, QTs hit 2pr on very coordinated board
i thought this was an insta fold to start with but think its actually close. if you raise his flop bet you have to call all in i think. i put his range at jj,kk,aa,ak,aj,kq, qq (out of qq 10 10 only included one) and kj/kt s (think its getting a bit thin so haven't included offsuit).
Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 36,630 games 0.001 secs 36,630,000 games/sec Board: Kh Qd Td Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 45.702% 44.92% 00.78% 16453 287.50 { QsTs } Hand 1: 54.298% 53.51% 00.78% 19602 287.50 { JJ+, AKs, AJs, KTs+, AKo } --- if you think thats a fair range for him then go ahead and call as its ev with money in the middle. however his af is pretty small so think hes at the top end of his range (taken out half the ak so you're how looking at sets aces aks, aj and kqs) Text results appended to pokerstove.txt 29,700 games 0.001 secs 29,700,000 games/sec Board: Kh Qd Td Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 27.768% 27.12% 00.65% 8055 192.00 { QsTs } Hand 1: 72.232% 71.59% 00.65% 21261 192.00 { QQ+, AKs, AJs, KQs, AJo } --- now you're pretty done and if you think its the top end of the range you're looking at due to the low af then its prolly still a call but the flop bet becomes very dubious--ev overall i think. finally i wouldn;t call pf here unless he's been doing this a lot. |

Re: 400NL, QTs hit 2pr on very coordinated board
copied the first range thing out wrong, haven't got kj in there but it only affects it by 2% ish so still a call as you're getting 2.5 to 1

Re: 400NL, QTs hit 2pr on very coordinated board
I think I could find a fold here- when we're ahead it's not by a lot and when we're behind it's generally not good.
And I really disagree about calling the flop bet on this board- someone want to elaborate? Thanks |

The preflop call is because I've been playing super aggro in the past couple of rounds and he could be playing back at me with a wider than standard range. |

What is his standard 3bet range and therefore what is his widened range? (Hint you know neither). Fold pre. On the flop I'd almost rather shove given your image. |
