Default DVD playback quality on 30in Dell?

I was just wondering if anyone had experience watching movies on the Dell 3007WFP (30 inch) or even the 2405FPW (24in).

I currently watch movies on the Dell 2001Fp and think the quality is fine. If I upgrade monitors will I be dissapointed by the playback? Or is it simply a case of the reviewers being nitpicky.

Heres the quote from the CNET review on the 30in,
[ QUOTE ]
Despite the monitor's 11-millisecond response time, DVD performance was a little disappointing. There was a lot of digital noise throughout the image (often it's just relegated to large areas of background color) and ghosting, which reduced the sharpness of the picture, making it look a bit blurry and soft-focused. Given its size, we suspect that many consumers would use this screen for watching DVDs, which makes the ghosting and the digital noise all the more disappointing.

It doesn't sound too good and makes me hesitate on buying it. Is the 24in any better? Thanks for any responses.

the 2405 has better specs than the 2001fp, so I have to imagine the 2405 is much better for DVD vieing, especially considering that it is a widescreen format

cnet in general is overly critical. i'm sure you'd find the playback to be good, unless you are a video phile.
