Re: Suggestions for tracking performance While at the casino?
Seriously? You can't figure this out?
Count your cash before you enter the room. Count it again when you leave. Subtract. |

Re: Suggestions for tracking performance While at the casino?
Usually I have just remembered the table numbers, and counted cash when I got back to the house or hotel room.
Once I scrawled some notes on the complimentary copy of Card Player. But now I've entered the 21st centure and used the 'memo' feature on my cell phone. |

Re: Suggestions for tracking performance While at the casino?
if i just want to track performance, i keep track of hours and net in my head.
if im playing seriously (as opposed to playing 1/2nl in maniac gear while pounding beast) i'll have a little pocket sized notebook and a pencil in my pocket. if i come across an interesting hand i'll write it down. as I get more live experience i'll probably stop, bc i have no trouble remembering exact details of 1 or 2 hands per session, just not 5 or 6. nobody cares if you take notes during the game, as long as you aren't referring to it while in a hand. |

Re: Suggestions for tracking performance While at the casino?
I think you've missed the reason I ask this question, to track when playing several different games and limits in one visit. Plus I usually keep a wierd amount of cash in my wallet. I never walk in the casino w/ exactly $300, it's usually more like $632 or $427 or some arbitrary number I usually don't keep track of. Counting the cash on me when I enter and leave the casino will not help me to find how I did in each particular game/limit. I'm using my phone from now on!
