Default God of War II

Hey everyone,

I finished Godfather finally a few weeks ago. After becoming the Don of NYC I took some time off to decide what game I wanted to tackle.

My wife bought me God of War II a few months ago, so I decided to try it out. We enjoyed the original God of War.

I started playing Monday night and so far the game has not disapointed me.

Does anyone who beat this game care to share their story?

I agree this game has the best storyline.
How long did it take to beat the game?
Did you have any spots that you found insanely difficult?
So far I have not had too many problems.

Killing the enemies is easy (on normal that is) but there was one time were my friend used 15mins to find out what to do (I found out after like 5mins so yeah it was difficult) Dont want to blow it for you if you are not there yet but it has something to do with a dead body.

I compleated the game in 3 days playing flrom 3-9hours per day :P So like 20 hours?? (I may have used a longer time b'caause it was some time back)

There were also a couple of places where I used a good amount of time to figure out and slay the bastards

I had more fun with the original, but both were def worthwhile. The first one just utterly blew my mind with how innovative it was, and that probably inured me a bit to enjoying this one. The new features in this one aren't that great, although the graphics are better than the first.

The weakest part of the sequel was the story, whereas the strongest part of the original was the story.

One annoying thing about this game is that you don't get enough exp points, so if you make bad decisions on spending them, you will suffer. However, I think there are some areas in the game where the enemies are both infinite and easy. Look online and see if you can either plan how you spend your skill points in advance, or find out which area is best for lvling up.

Please play this game on the harder difficulties if you aren't already. It makes the experience much more entertaining, worthwhile, and the game actually becomes a bit of a challenge if you are not just hacking through on easy.
