Default Second pair vs loose passive

Ultimate Bet - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.05/$0.10 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

Button is loose passive, something like 40/8/1 over ~50 hands.

SB: $25.53
BB: $8.50
Hero (UTG): $9.80
MP: $4.05
CO: $7.10
BTN: $11.16

Preflop: Hero is dealt J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (6 Players)
<font color="red">Hero raises to $0.35</font>, 2 folds, BTN calls $0.35, 2 folds

Flop: ($0.85) 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $0.70</font>, BTN calls $0.70

Turn: ($2.25) 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">Hero bets $1.35</font>,

I think Button could peel this flop with an 8, 9, T, J, or Q. Not sure how loose he'd call on turn. I could confidently fold to raise. Should I bet this turn then, or just check and see what he does? I am unclear on his bluffing frequencies if I check.

Ok, additional question then. Your turn bet is called, river is a blank (4:spades: or something), then what?

I probably c/f turn and river here. Is a loose PASSIVE player raising you on any street with worse than mid pair? If he is, then he isnt passive. Although I guess if he is loose enough then a turn bet isnt bad either. If he calls that then its definitely c/f time.
