I want to make $1k a month. If anyone from the grand rapids area or on the web wants to mentor me in any form of poker let me know. I can teach you guitar, clean your house, or do whatever.

I am good at hu sngs, and I don't get why I suck at everything else. I tried $25nl 6max and I'm down 10 buyins in 15k hands. I started $25nl fr 4 days ago and I'm down 7 buyins in 6k hands. I'm playing a super straightforward 10/7 game and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong.

If you have a good hand(top pair or something) and your opponents check, valuebet. Dont care if it seems like he/they cant call with anything you beat, just valuebet.
When your opponents raise and you dont have a good hand(one pair is not a good hand), fold.
If the flush comes on the river and your opponent shoves, he has it, fold.
If you have aces, never fold, bet or raise.

JJ should never lose(big) to AA. What I mean is, I think you are overplaying TP... A beginning player will almost always do this. Start working on this and I think you will see an improvemnt right away.

Seeing some hands would be a good thing, if you really wanted some advice.
