I don't understand shoving the turn like this. He's got pp/air/an ace. If he's got a pp, no reason he wouldn't call a bet on the river that he would call on the turn. if he's got a pp smaller than 5, he'll bluff river often. if he's got random air he'll bluff river often. if he's got an ace you're going down anyways-

why not check the turn and shove river if checked to? (I would frequently just shove the flop, but not always)

wait, you are trying to get him off a split? I think he has some ace here way more than the last 5. Check through, and bluff him off on river if you want. You can still rep the ace that way

i think he rarely has an ace here the way the flop action went down - it's either air or a 5 for the split and i actually like the play a lot.

what? you caught the min-reraise on the flop right? what ace does he have here? (he's a reg btw, so i know at bare minimum that he's not spewy/retarded) you really think that min 3bet is an ace way more than trips?

this is def. fine, i dunno why everyone is freakin out...

why the hell would villian play an ace like that on the flop? No way...you are way more likely to have an ace than him, so this is good to knock him off the split. Alternatively, you can check behind in hopes that he will push the river on a bluff, but this is fine too if u think he'll fold the 5 enough
