Default Is this flop push standard?

Blinds 100-200.
Hero in the SB with 1800, BB has slightly more.
Folded to hero with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Hero raises to 600.
BB calls. Pot 1200, which is size of Hero's remaining stack.
Flop: J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

Probably not. Pushing every flop is fine. But this is a really good flop for your hand and you might get him to fold some better hands and the pot is big so it's a crystal clear push.

Push preflop. But yeah, as played easy shove on the flop.

Standard. Why is this even a question (other than a BBV in disguise?)

Why do you feel the need to say this?

I always push this flop also, but is there any merit to check/raising all in against an aggro opponent, who might put it all in with any 2 in this spot after you checked to him?

I'd say not much, because the pot's 1,200 and hero has 1,200, if the villain bets ANYTHING he's pot-committed. The danger, however, is in the villain CHECKING behind. Now hero pretty much HAS TO push/call WITHOUT getting the benefit of odds being correct for a draw (if behind) and with less FE because the turn push looks like MORE of a steal than the flop push... IMHO.

A line of betting 600 may not be too bad (with the intention of calling the raise) simply because it might make Hero's hand look that much bigger, as it MAY have slightly more FE than the push. However, I think Hero should actually ROOT for the call here as he has tons of outs against most hand that call him here...
