Default Live AK top pair, facing turn shove

Playing live at the Bike. Villain hasn't gotten too far out of line, is cautious with preflop raises, and usually folds to pressure. However, he's uncomfortable at the table and seems phased by playing live, or something. My image is relatively tight post-flop, but loose pre, if he's listening to the table. Structure is $2/$3.

HERO: $245
VILLAIN: $300

Everyone else doesn't matter.

Dealt to HERO: A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

PRELFOP: UTG folds, VILLAIN raises to $10, 1 fold, HERO raises to $50, rest fold, VILLAIN cold calls. Hero thinks "huh?"

FLOP: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

VILLAIN checks, HERO checks.

TURN:9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

VILLAIN checks, HERO bets $40, VILLAIN raises all-in, HERO . . .

Preemption: I hate my flop check, looking at it like this. I really did have a suspicion that this was a c/r I could not call, though.

wait so you 25% of your stack in preflop, made tptk, made a weak ass bet, and now want to fold?

I would imagine after you 3bet him preflop his range is pretty tight given your description. Maybe like TT+/AQs+ (is this too narrow given position, read, and action?)

After he checkraises all in on that turn card, I really think his range is down to like only AK and AA, and if I had to guess I'd say he has AK here and it's a chop.
