sniper is a huge asset to 2+2 and sincerely hope that his degreening won't stop him from posting here. it's hard to imagine that he deserved to be banned, but what do i know.
i wish i had the '2+2 serious business' pic handy. this is a big time bummer.

i am no particular friend of degen or sniper - i thought degen's contributions were entirely self interested and i thought sniper let obvious trolls have way too much fun - but the fact that 2+2 would ban degen and remove sniper from his posistion of influence when they were two of the only forum contributors seriously interested in improving the forums (even if for partly selfish reasons) makes it clear this is just another inbred and exclusive social club and not a legit business. y'all have fun fiddling while rome burns.

I've been a member of 2+2 as long as anybody.
username: poorboy in the ancient older archives. Sniper was a great mod and a great poster. I am actually hoping that he doesn't attempt to mod but just focuses on posting because of the quality of his posts. Thhat being said, Thanks for your contribution to 2+2 Sniper.

[/ QUOTE ] Whatever mod forum politics may have been involved, de-modding sniper is the right thing to do. The investment forum has always been an embarrassment. Maybe that's always going to be the case with a public forum about investments, particularly one populated by kids with newfound money they don't know what to do with, but the inmates shouldn't be running the asylum. A great deal of 2p2's value is in having a brand associated with expert advice about statistics, gambling and money. Having someone like sniper as the moderator of the finance forum actively damages that brand. scrub
