Harrah's (Vegas) freeroll Jan 5th-6th

got a letter inviting me to play in this freeroll. anyone else get this? if you did, you'll obviously know what i'm talking about. if anyone else did, do you know anything about the actual tournament? the people i talked to didn't seem to know much.

I will be there also. If it the same as the previous ones, it starts with several rounds of single table shootouts. The winner of each table goes to the finals. You can rebuy into later first rounds if you want. Only the finals pay out. They do give you nice gifts.

I believe none of the rebuys goes into the prize pool. Its is basically a sit and go. Sometimes top 2 go to the multi-table tourney on the next day, sometimes only one.

The last one I played in had a horrible struction in the multi.
It was an allin fest after the first 2 rounds.
It free, free rooms, it definatle worth playing.

They differ from offer to offer, but that is the jist.
I played in one when they paid out about 1/2 the field in the multi.

Oh, and the cash game are usually pretty good too. These are only offered to Diamond Player
