NFD against Tagfish

Re: NFD against Tagfish
Looks o.k. to me. If he's aggro I'll jam flop though.
This line seems standard. Would like to hear other opinions. I could see him semibluffing 78 which would explain his turn check and river check. I'm not a huge fan of bluffing river. He could have wierdly played Q here. |

Re: NFD against Tagfish
i dont like bluffing river, its too see-through imo... unless your sure you can push him off. i personally prefer pushing over his reraise on flop, but i;ll mix it up with calling depending on player/situation/etc.
think its wierd how he checks behind on turn.. |

[/ QUOTE ] yeah i thought he would bet the turn with a set because of the draws. i'm not sure whether he would raise the flop with just top pair and then check it down, also, i'm not sure what his limping button range is. i suppose he wants to see flops with the huge fish |

other opponent is a really bad fish (80/20/2). heads up i might get it in on the flop, but his line was pretty strong as the idiot was also in the hand. [/ QUOTE ] This is a valid point. [ QUOTE ] weird hand here. opponent is 19/13/2 over alot of hands he makes weird plays, like limping sometimes and does strange things postflop. [/ QUOTE ] Still I just push the flop being oop vs this guy. I think there's enough draws and pairs we have decent equity against in his range. And our implied odds isn't great being oop with an obvious draw. I'm not bluffing the river how you play the hand. |

Re: NFD against Tagfish
bluffing the river is pretty bad here, i'd make a case for calling the river before bluffing it honestly
this should really be a push on flop, you're oop with a reasonably strong draw and you have a read on this guy that says he does weird things postflop (read: FE). |
