BB is is 32/7/1.9 through 150 hands and I've already value-stacked myself fgators-style once against him. UTG+1 is 18/10/0.8 over 40 hands and I seem to remember some really bad-fishy postflop play from him, though I can't remember exactly what.

Full Tilt Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $0.50/$1
6 players
Converter

Stack sizes:
Hero: $122.25
UTG+1: $105.65
CO: $100
Button: $105
SB: $99
BB: $261.50

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
<font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $4</font>, UTG+1 calls, 3 folds, BB calls.

Flop: 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] ($12.5, 3 players)
BB checks, <font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $10</font>, UTG+1 calls, <font color="#cc0000">BB raises to $33</font>, Hero ???

Is this one of those places I should just be shoving it and loving it? Something here makes me want to pull for value rather than push for isolation because my outs are as good against both of them as they are against one.

[/ QUOTE ]

with your stack I'd just shove. Your implied odds are better with shoving now than whatever you do if you just call and hit.

UTG calls $0.50, <font color="red">Hero raises to $2.25</font>, <font color="red">SB raises to $7</font>, BB folds, UTG calls $6.50, Hero calls $4.75

Flop: ($21.50) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players)
<font color="red">SB bets $16</font>, 2 folds

Results: $21.50 Pot ($1.05 Rake)

If utg didn't call I'm not getting odds to call the reraise right? With utg calling this is standard?

costs you $4.75 to call pf.

when you make your set, you need to win $40 on average (4.75 * 8 or so).

already, there is $17 in the pot.

thus, you need to win a further $23 or so - making a final pot of $63. if you think you can do that, you should call. if not, fold.

i suspect that if you call, you may often be making a decent sized mistake. if you fold, you may occasionally be making a small mistake. thus, i lean towards folding.

I call; you only need to win 25% of the time to be profitable, and villain is not paying you off with a worse hand if you raise.

if you're playing 25+/20+ villain thinks you're crazy maniac 'cause you're "always raising" and bets a lot of stuff here worse than a Queen.

This is another key reason to not be a nit.
