I kept reading all this stuff about 2 millions units shipped and there would be no shortage. What's going on? So these things will turn a profit???

WRT games and accessories, to pre-order those do you have to pay in-full? If not what did it cost to reserve those???

u should go back there today and pre-order zelda...that is a must-have if u keep it and will raise your bids more than the $50 it costs if u sell it with the wii

I don't really care about getting my Wii on launch day. I just want it sometime in Dec. When is the 2nd wave of shipments? Or are these things gonna be scarce and I NEED to pre-order it?

is this even practical? i know with most consoles, there's region specificity, so you can't play games released in europe on a north american console. i'm not sure if this is the case with the Wii, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was. so you'd basically be selling something to people that they couldn't use unless they imported all their games. i don't know how much of a market there is for that.

personally, with 5 times as many units being launched as the PS3, i'm avoiding the Wii altogether.

yeah, wii will be region-locked so this may not work too well
