Default 10NL: TPTK on rainbow flop facing reraise

Well this is my first post here, i've been browsing around and figured i needed to start posting some hands where i was facing a tough decision and didn't have a clue what to do.

So here goes... Villain sat down about ten hands ago but I had a little run in with him two hands earlier in a pretty much identical situation but he showed up with two pair and i paid him off. That was the only other hand he had played yet at this table. But i figure that the only hands i would see here are queens/aces up or a set. Sorry but i don't have poker tracker so no numbers on him.

You need to reload preflop. You have to call since you put 1/2 your stack in already and TPTK could be good here.

looks like a set of nines to me. but half of your stack is in the pot. If you plan on raising this flop you have to call a shove because you are so short with a hand like TPTK. I would reload to a full stack as much as I can to ensure that I get max value for my good hands as well as give me a chance to get away from a situation like this. Anyway I hope that helped and I am looking forward to more posts.

Quick tip, plan your hands before the tough spot comes to avoid them. Consider picking up Pro No Limit from here. It does a great job of explaining this in detail.

Yeah this is pretty much impossible to get away from considering your stack. I would put a set of 9's in his range but it could be a donkish move with KQ. %100 call

I think his range is probably A9+ and 99 and maybe some Qx hands. With 1/2 your stack in you have to call.

I would raise to 50 preflop (4bb+1limper)

Easy call after your ch/r

Take a note of what he open limped on the button with.
