MY WPEX CHECK BOUNCED!

I just had a check returned from WPX from my back for insuffient funds. Has anyone else cashed out by check lately?



WSEX GM? ANYONE?

*wpx customer support had me fax them the bounced check and said they will look into it tomorrow when "Judy" comes in and get in touch with their payment processors and the bank.

For anyone who wants to play at wpx I would be very cautious right now.

Note:
I have played a wpx for 6 months. Ironically, I was planning on cashing out of wpx probably for good because they no longer have electronic cashout options for US players & I feel like it is safer to play on the major sites where you can transfer $ though epass etc. and get it in a few hours rather than dealing with checks.

The last check i recieved has still not cleared with my bank. i deposited it on March 1st or 2nd. Cant remember which bank it was drawn on, def a canadian one though.

Where was your check from Penguins??

72, What do you mean your check hasn't cleared and you deposited it on March 1st or 2nd. Thats over a month. or did you mean april 1st or 2nd?

no.. march 1st over 40 days now. Most banks will put international checks on hold (they say give it up to 3 weeks) then they will release the money. iam getting pretty worried about this one now since it has been so long. maybe someone with some banking knowlegde could expliain the system to us. my bank has told me on 2 occasions to "give it one more week" which i have. but iam more and more worried everyday.

p.s all my checks have been no problem living here in the U.S.

This is brutal. I'm expecting a check in the next day which was going to cover the remainder of my tax payment for 2006. I sure hope mine works.

i played for two days on WPEX, to give it a try. yes you get you rake back but not you bankroll... i've seen the most unbelievable calls, flop,turn,river with Q high, against oesd flush draw on the flop bet hard everytime.i've seen some of the ugliest suckouts. i won a ton of small pots when i had a hand but lost the few big ones where i was a big favorite...what's the point in getting free rake
when you lose the meaningful hands to a dog?

I dont want to get everyone worried. Ive never had any problems or heard of any problems with WPEX checks in the past. Penguin being the 1st. Mine could just be because of my [censored] bank.

what i mean is out 0f the 3/4 tables open you always have 3/4 regs per table. guess where the big pots go?
