Donking the flop into the preflop capper is a perfectly fine play in the right spots - I sometimes view it as being "well I would have 5-bet you preflop if I could!". I tend to c/c this flop rather than c/r, many because the only worse ace that is potentially capping for value preflop is ATs.

Simply call down, I've been raised by worse hands in spots like this too many times.
