Default Atlantic City card rooms

I'm 19 and I was just wondering how lenient they are in AC. I was in Vegas last year and I played in Bally's and Caesars without getting carded (I grew a beard though).

I wanna take a trip to AC with some buddies and play at Borgata, maybe some other casinos. I've heard that they're more strict in AC than Vegas. I also wont be growing a beard or goatee, so I will look younger. Anyone have any opinions/stories that could tell me how strict they are for carding people? When they find someone without ID do they take your chips away and let you go, or do they actually get you in trouble?

First...the FAQ is your friend. Second, AC is tougher than Vegas on this front, Borg in particular is tougher than the other places. I advise against it, esp. if you're going to play low limit or low stakes NL. There is security at the bottom of the escalator looking for young people now. Come back in a coupla years.

And no, I don't know what happens if they catch you.

I never played at the Borgata but I can tell you they're very tough at the Taj. I've seen numerous underage players escorted out of there.

Jeff,

I think many of the scenes in the later half of the movie Hostel are loosely based on what Borg security does to underage poker players.

Don't play underage. You will get caught. Casino has every right to make you forfeit all your winnings AND follow it up with a fine if they feel so inclined.

My girlfriend is 24, we go to AC two or three weekends a month. She gets carded all the time.

Don't do it, it's not worth it. Find a home game or just keep playing on the internet.

when i was underage, I used to always head up to the Taj... got asked for ID once, told them it was in the car, left for a min to "go get it" and when the boss walked away, i just sat back down

try and get there when its busy and play into the dead hours
