Default TP turned into rivered trips on a scary board... did I lose value?

I got scared, should I have bet the river?

Pot the flop. Too many draws and scare cards to only bet 2/3 pot IMO.

Also, if villian is very aggressive I would CR the flop and do my best to get us commited going into the turn.

With absolutely no read on the villian, I don't think checking here is a bad line. He'll bet most Jx hands anyway, you'll lose less to a bluff, and he might bluff with a small PP anyway.

Just b/f turn. As played you can probably just shove the river. His calling range &gt; betting range imo and you can't c/f.

What do we do on the river if villian calls the turn and a scary river falls? Actually, I would not mind a turn CR, but I'm hesitant to B/f without a read.

But upon consideration I think a river bet is appropriate here. I have a feeling this guy is a donk that is being stubborn with a small PP, so I wouldn't bet more than 1/2 pot or so, but I think we can milk him a little.

Sorry, thought we were playing 100bb stacks when saying b/f turn. 60bb makes stacks awkward for b/f.
