If you're this worried about the other players being better than you don't sit at all.

What Ego said. Don't sit if the other players are a large scale concern for you. As a default,. sit with a bit more than it takes to cover the fish if you do plan to do this.

I actually laughed out loud at the 1053.67 comment above. Not a bad line IMO.

sit def w/ 1k cuz if other players full stacked generally at 10/20 not complete donks... maybe b/c ur range is wider against donk and ur halfstacked u look like fish urself and end up killing the table with ur jackoff image

i think that if u r tilty/a pussy/fear variance, sitting with just enough to cover the fish sounds like a very good idea. or if u r humble enough to admit when someone is better than u.

i'm not sure how to play preflop with 50bb.

should i fold 22-77 from utg(6 max)?

should i still call raises with sc and pp in btn?

should i raise sc from co?

My gut tells me that the money I lose from not being able to play a 50bb stack as well as a 100bb stack against the supposedly better 100bb players is more important than the money I gain from not losing as much against the better players over time. For this reason, I'd sit with 100bb but I could definitely be convinced I'm wrong.

If you only sit with 1k because you are too afraid of the big bad 10/20 players then now there are TWO donks at the table and that is just fine.
