Getting GSN on Comcast in Certain Areas

Even though we get GSN on Comcast (digital cable) in Baltimore, I totally agree that the company and its workers are crap. The incredible bungling just to get someone out to the house or to be able to tell you without lying when they're coming (or not coming) is worse than anyone (except Comcast customers) believes is possible. Not to mention that even their super techs don't understand anything about their own technology.

It's worse than that. Some of us WERE getting GSN and, therefore, the HSP shows....

until %*(#&* Comcast snatched it away over the summer, in another one of their infamous "we've improved your cable choices!" moves.

Heres the deal guys. Anyone who doesnt get GSN on Comcast in their area: CALL AND REQUEST IT!! The more calls they receive about it, the greater the likeliehood they will add the channel. They basically told me it has a lot to do with demand in different areas blah blah blah. I just called and I suggest everyone else who wants it do the same.

Even when I did get GSN back in NY, I never watched HSP on TV. I don't know why anyone would sit through a commercial break and then watch one hand. I won't mention the obvious other sources for getting the show, but watching it on TV is for suckers, imo.

I have comcast, used to have GSN but now I dont , only in my bedroom where digital cable is installed.

In my area it's moving from a leased "local access programming" channel to a regular (digital tier) channel on December 4. Not sure if it's a national decision to carry it.

Finally, my DVR will be able to record it without doing a manual recording (which periodically forgot which channel to record).

Another vote here for Comcast as being even worse than other big business bureaucracies.
