Default A8o vs CC and BB on Kxx flop

Do you ever do this? CC'er is 30/20 over 90 hands, BB is a new player.

I think his most likely coldcalling hands are QJs/JTs type hands, but we're not in great shape vs these and it's going to be tough if he decides to raise these somewhere. I would've autobet the flop but I don't think checking is terrible. If BB folds I'd consider calling the flop as he'll bet everything here. Change the 9 to a 10 and I like checking alot more.

yeah if Btn doesnt fold youre lost if you dont improve on the Turn. I hate these spots and dont know what to do other then b/f the FLop or c/f the Turn.

If we c-bet this flop against this lineup, do you think we get a fold more than 1 in 6 times?

I think the flop check is fine. It's pretty close, because button will sometimes be coldcalling with Axs and other suited hands (e.g. 87s, T6s) and hands like AJo and ATo.

BTW, given the rake structure of 3/6, I'm pretty sure open raising A8o in the HJ is a slightly losing preflop play. A9o in this spot is probably close to breakeven, and ATo is definitely playable.

Checking this flop is terrible. It's marginally coordinated at best and the king will tend to keep people honest. Easy bet-fold, you have the best hand here like 1/4 times.

Button's cold calling range is going to include a lot of hands like QJs, Axs, AT, 77, the first two of which you're ahead of and the latter two of which are under significant pressure to fold with a player still to act behind him on this board. The blind has a blind hand and the board ain't that coordinated and the king should prevent loose peels.

I really can't believe that people think this is close; maybe if you're up against 3 opponents it's close but not 2. I think you win immediately well more than 1/6 times and when you don't win immediately you generally have a profitable follow-up on the turn. I feel like I'm in poker bizarro world.

I bet/fold 100% of the time.I donīt think the board is coordinated enough to check.
