Can somebody clarify something for me please.

I wasn't watching the game. Watched the highlights this morning, and am listening to Mike do a play-by-play recap on WFAN. He keeps saying the clock was running on the 4th and 17 play, but says the sequence of plays before that was a sack followed by an out-of-bounds incompletion.

Why was the clock running after an incompletion?

To give Myers a tiny benefit of doubt, he may have said that so the guys in the truck didn't cut away.

All: Just watched the highlights. The few steps that receiver took before the lateral on the hook and ladder were SO key. Just awesome.

lacky/iggy: Perhaps that's true, but I wouldn't be surprised if he just wanted to have his nationally covered bowl game first before sitting down to discuss contracts.

1st down was a sack (8 yard loss) followed by a BSU timeout
2nd down was an incomplete pass
3rd down was an incomplete pass
4th down was the hook & ladder

The clock definitely wasn't running before the snap on 4th down, and if I remember correctly, there was ~18 seconds left when the 4th down play was snapped.

I just watched the 2-point conversion again and Ian Johnson definitely needs to work on his "we just shocked the world" celebration. After scoring, he does a weak dance by himself and then decides to head towards the crowd.

You either need to rush the crowd right away or find other players right away to jump into. There's no tentative celebrating by yourself.

well, if so I like his gambling style, cause the meeting took place before regular season ended. Fiesta was still less than a 50/50 at that point. It also assumed a good showing at the Fiesta bowl.

if he really took that line, thats some pretty big balls!

(knowing his charecter throughout the season though, I'm pretty sure it is justs as he is representing though)
