Silly Windows Question
I like to keep my windows very organized, so much so that I open them in a specific order to keep them in that order on my taskbar.
I often make mistakes and close programs, resulting in my windows being out of order. I probably have OCD or something but this really bugs me. Basically, my question is, is it possible to reorder windows in the task bar? If this isn't clear, say I opened notepad then calculator. Now I want notepad showing up to the right of the calculator on the taskbar. without closing and reopening notepad, is that possible? Thanks. |

Re: Silly Windows Question
Can't you drag them on the taskbar? (I'm not on windows to check.)

Re: Silly Windows Question
There are tons of shareware/freeware available for reordering your taskbar, google "reorder windows taskbar" and you'll find tons of links...
1 decent looking freeware one: http://www.[censored].com/nerdcave/taskbarshuffle.htm... wow... "[censored]"="free#$@#$webs" without the #$@#$, nothing like a little creative censorship... I'm not going to try it myself so I can't vouch for it's legitimacy but this should work. |

Re: Silly Windows Question
i'll take a look at those for my home computer, I was hoping there was something built into windows that did this (and kind of surprised there isn't) since this is mainly for my work computer.
Thanks for the link! |
