Just read a bit about it on Wikipedia, it appears that the book is pretty well aligned with many of my beliefs.

I'm sorry.

My take on both books:

The Fountainhead: Live for yourself and work hard.

Atlas Shrugged: Ayn Rand is insane.

ha... Smiley has it right.

When I read both when I was an impressionable teenager, I was like "OMG GENIUS!" Within the past 16 months I've read both again. I still like the Fountainhead, but I definitely over-estimated it and won't read it again most likely. But I realized Atlas Shrugged is very poorly written, and just a snooze of a book.

meh... depends how much "pretty well" means. It's not that far off how many libertarians feel.

whatever you do, don't just read it and decide for yourself. By all means go to wiki, southpark, whatever. To read it yourself means you may have already fallen in the trap.
