ROI in Heads up Sit and go
I am playing 22$+1$ heads up tournaments. Can anyone tell me what ROI could be expected from a good solid player. Is it harder or easier to keep a decent ROI when playind heads up sit and go compared to 6 pl. or 10 pl. sit and go.
Hope someone can help me |

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
I'd say up to 15% (maybe a little better at the lower stakes) for low to mid stakes is very good. 10% is pretty good. 5% is ok but you could probably improve from here with a little work. Of course at higher stakes ($100-$300) 10% becomes very good. I believe many of the best pros who play the highest stakes (500, 1000, or higher) get around 5%. These are just rough estimates but should be fairly close. People will correct me if my numbers are glaringly wrong. Variance will be less than at 6 seat and 9 seat.

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
10-15 is pretty good, especially if you're just starting out. 15-25 is very good and probably the max achievable over a long run on any of the major site's husng turbo structure.

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
yup i agree with greg (i need to give this guy less hate :P), 20% is definitely doable, and the 33s are the last properly fishy level. that being said, all levels can be pretty fishy if you are extreme about game selection, but then you would probably find it hard to manage more than about 2 games an hour.

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
i've played from 5s up to 50s and i've found 30s to be the most difficult so far.

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
That's weird, the easiest level I ever played were 33s on Stars. Not to say I can beat them higher than I could like the 6s, it just seems I knew what to do in the most situations playing those. You get a little ROI boost in the 6s from 42o open shovers first hand.

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
I am starting at $6 on fulltilt, winning about 62% of the games for a pretty solid ROI. How many games do you need to play to have a good idea of true ROI.

Re: ROI in Heads up Sit and go
After 400 games , you can only determine that you're likely to be within 5 % of your true win-rate . So if you've won 60% , then your true win rate is anywhere from 55% to 65% .
If you want to be within 3% of your true win-rate , then you would need about 1,111 games . So if after 1111 games , your sample win-rate is 60% , then your true win-rate is anywhere from 57% to 63% . |
