TV in the Lounge, Fall 07 Edition

should have mentioned this earlier, but kid nation is probably the best reality show currently/ever on tv. they took a group of kids and put them in an old ghost town. there are no adults telling them what to do. the children are responsible for everything. they make their own meals, decide when to go to bed, etc.

tonight is episode 5 on cbs, but if you want to catch up watch the first episodes online. these kids are absolutely precious. it can be completely heartbreaking, but oh so fascinating. [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] this show:

wookie, i would expect most young males to hate this show or, at least, not to admit to it on a poker forum ([censored] social expectations). you can pretty much tell from the show description if you're one of the people that won't enjoy it. for anyone with the right sensibilities, it's amazing.

Is it me or is Bionic Woman getting better every week? Seems like there might be a bad guy who Jamie has a reason to hate. I also liek the fact that her BF appears to eb have been a scumbag.

Anyone else still watching Tell Me You Love Me? This show is just awful. If it weren't for the sex scenes there would be no reason to watch it. It makes me want to shoot myself in the head. Honestly, could they make marriage look any worse?

anyone watch Real Time with Bill Maher? I think he's the best "political funnyman" out there. Great guests, interesting topics, gives both sides equal say, and I just happen to agree with everything he says - especially when he gets serious about his new rules at the end of the show.

The most intelligent, thought-provoking pundit out there.

No, I've long since dropped it. However, I've been following that other sexually explicit show on that other premium channel, Californication. That show is awesome. David Duchovney has such an awesome character. It's one of the best shows on TV.
