Default tough spot in stars $20r

down to like 100 in the 20 rebuy on stars, pick up KK in MP. I just picked off BThere floating me with a check-raise on the turn. i know he's a good player but i don't think he gives me much respect. We both have pretty big stacks probably around top 12 or so.

I played with him a bit live last week he was tight you are crushed or racing here a lot, if there was a board to fold an overpair you found it.

Thoughts of a unexperienced player. I really don't think he has a made flush; it would be very loose to call preflop with something like AJs, KJs, JTs or T9s. With the Ace of clubs on my hand and another club i would have called i think leaving my opponent completely guessing and showing i'm still drawing (you have the K so AKs is unlikely). It looks like he is frustrated you pulled him off last hand. Although if he really is a very good player he could use that to fool you now. I would put him on a pocketpair with a club (JJ, TT, 99) maybe AQs (other colour of course), so he is just protecting his toppair with a nice bluf opportunity. Preflop i would have raised a little more. But then again who am i? The real beginner .

I dont see how you dont re-raise him? If he has a flush he doesn't raise the flop most of the time. Did he call your raise with 22 or 33, not likely. AQ is definetely in there and of course odds are he has a club. I like the re-raise or the call then when a blank hits the turn you check raise him because he will put you on a high club after you call the flop.

well, we were all wrong. he turned over 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. looks like he was mad I outplayed him the hand before and was going to outplay me this hand, but got lucky and flopped a flush. I don't see him making the raise on the flop with many hands I beat (besides AxQc) so I think I should have been able to fold here with so little invested and most of the time i'm crushed or racing.
