Default What is he valuebetting here that I beat?

Villain is a 48/13, villain was playing somewhat reasonable, had been limp/folding a lot, but my image is pretty laggy. Curious how many of you play this hand differently.

Not a lot by the looks of things. AK is my most likely choice but even that is unlikely since you hold two As yourself.

A fishy KJ possibly??

i would have bet 450-500 on the turn for a free sd and folded to any further action.
as played i would fold, maybe he has some wierd played set or QQ/88?

This reasoning doesn't make sense to me. If your willing to bet 450-500 on the turn then why aren't you willing to call that after you check behind?

This line so much better than betting 450-500 on the turn for the reasons above.

tell me, why he is check raising the flop and checking the turn?
he wants to trap us again? this is a 50vpip fish... he is on a marginal hand like KJ 45 67 77-QQ. i want to protect my hand and i want value. if he is playing somewhat reasonable he won't bluff again on the river but anyway he is a fish and wants to loose money with marginal holdings.

this is a really crappy line for somebody to take with AK this deep. but, he is a 48/13, chances are he's got a little downie in him postflop too.

This is what I was thinking on the river, although against a TAG I think the river should be a pretty easy fold, WTF would a good player think he's getting called by if he has AK there.
