Default Re: Stuff to do In Chicago

what a bust, this trip was a complete 180 from last trip. Twas not Chicago's fault, just a crappy couple of days (the one shining moment was trying a chicago dog (at some crappy service area...) that was pretty damn good, I think the pickle and hot peppers are clutch).

this trip raised a question;

Is traffic in Chicago absolutely terrible or have I just been unlucky?
I have spent lots of time sitting in traffic on the highways around here. I am used to Boston traffic, and so far I'd say that this is quite a bit worse, especially in the afternoons.

alright, sorry to gripe, I'm off to hunt for cheap drinks in the airport.

Yes, every day.

At least you don't have to drive the Eisenhower and go through the bottle neck.

I don't see why everyone thinks Portillo's is such an awesome Beef sandwich. It's average at best.
