Default WOW! No Official Ranking Thread. I Will Start One

I am no ranking genius but this is where I think the teams will fall. I know that Cal and ASU are still playing but ASU has control late in 4th and I think they will win.

1 OSU
2 BC
3 LSU
4 Oklahoma
5 Oregon
6 WVU
7 ASU
8 Kansas
9 Mizzou
10 Hawaii
11 Va Tech
12 USC
13 Texas
14 Michigan
15 GA
16 Florida
17 Bama
18 Auburn
19 Boise ST
20 UCONN
21 Cal
22 Wisconsin
23 USF
24 Wake
25 Cincy

I am sure someone will disagree and think USC should or Florida should be number 1. Their is always one. Those two teams could go 0-11 and people would still try to put those teams in the National championship game. OK a lil overexaggerated.

I am shocked u even have KSU and Arkansas in your poll. I dont mind Kansas being in your top 5 but the pollsters probably wont see it that way. After the way Bama kicked the Vols ass last week how can u even put them as a ranked team?

they haven't been all that impressive the last 3 weeks, but i still consider them very good. nothing wrong with #6. ASU and Oregon are going to clash. kansas has a tough game against missouri. i predict a loss coming up for BC, and OSU is going to get a hell of a game from Michigan

as long as sarkisian is calling plays and sanchez is starting i don't think they should even be in the top 25. i understand the guy wants to be conservative because sanchez was in his 3rd career start but that game was honestly ridiculous. the longest pass i think i saw them attempt in the entire first half was 12 yards. there was exactly one drive where he pulled off the stops and what happened? we scored in 4 plays. then the very next drive he goes back to his original game plan, throwing out useless plays like a designed qb draw when they had to go the entire length of the field in like a minute and a half. usc should have won that game in a blowout.

this is the reason oregon is not going to beat asu. asu is not going to be this sqeamish. though oregon's defense played more impressively than i expected, they weren't amazing by any means. asu should have no problems putting up at least 30, and as long as they don't turn it over in terrible field position like usc did they can hold oregon to less than that because their defense, though not as good as usc, is certainly up there.

a couple other thoughts. asu was definitely no fluke. this team can play. so what happens if them, ohio state and bc all win out? the computers have them tied for 2nd right now with ohio state. once they finish out their season they should be number 1 if they run the table, while bc will drop to 3. if an unbeaten asu is rejected from the national championsip because retarded voters don't understand basic strength of schedule concepts, wouldn't it have to go down as one of the biggest robberies in the history of sports? it would definitely spell the end of the bcs as we know it. i'm pretty sure it won't happen though because asu will have jumped bc by that point in the polls (i hope), but the voters will never drop ohio state as long as they keep winning. their schedule is also decently tough from here on out.

asu really didn't need ucla mailing in the game against the worst team in the pac 10. what the [censored] was up with that game? after holding forsett to just 75 yards the week before against cal, they let some guy named dwight tardy put up 214? had ucla won convincingly i'm pretty sure they would have cracked the top 25. i mean the computers have had them in the there for weeks but i doubt half the voters have even seen a ucla game this season.

another thing, if the bcs computer systems don't factor in margin of victory, how can a two loss michigan possibly be 16 while usc is 25? do the computers even rank division ii opponents?
