Default New TV can I play poker on it?

Ok, I just bought a 32" LCD tv.

If I buy a cord to run from laptop to TV will my screen come up clear for poker?

What cord will I need?

it's not the size of the TV in inches as much as it is in the resolution of the screen. From a poker playing perspective even a 1080p isn't that high a resolution. Check out this chart http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Display_resolution

edited to fix link

Link doesnt work.

But what would I need to like 4 table clearly, I mean what resolution would work best.

1280x800 is my laptop setting and I can 4-table very smally.

So any clue on the TV resolution I would need.

I havnt bought the TV but I know the one I was going to get.

I also noticed most of the TV's have the same resolution, so I am confused on what I need to look at for hooking it up.

720p is 1280x720, which is smller than your lappy.
1080p is 1920x1080, bigger than your laptop, but you'll still be resizing tables to 4 table.

You want to look for a PC input on the TV or you should be able to use a DVI to HDMI adapter to hook the laptop to the TV.
